I'm a calorie counter as well, so I can relate to the big lesson learned about calories! That's great!

Biggest challenge I overcame was let myself eat some candy for Christmas and then have to stop again. I have to cold turkey and it's very hard to "treat myself" and not binge candy! But this is my first day back to no candy

I signed up as I have been trying to bring down the weight this past few months I gained this year(I blamed covid not because the stress but because I wanted an excuse to eat a bunch of junk and food I didn't normally eat so often....then all I did was eat really bad.)
I had finally had enough and signed up for this as a last ditch effort. I was tired of feeling bloated 24/7, like I was riding a sugar crash roller coaster, and that I had no control of all the excuses I made, especially work stress, for eating terribly.
The day of Halloween I went, ya know what, I can't behave with candy, so unless it's baked into a treat I won't eat it. So I massively brought down my sugar consumption the last ~2 months!! After that I when I started this dietbet I started working on drinking more water and practicing eating until I felt full instead of overstuffed, and it's done wonders!
I'm really hoping to lose two more pounds before the end of the year with a bit more exercise incorporated (I usually just walk a lot).
Thanks to everyone for participating and motivating me to so I could focus on accomplishing what I otherwise could not get done in my own!

I’ve gotten off to a great start. I’m surprised how discipline I have been in making good food choices and making my calories count. Before I was eating without realizing how much I was eating while running area and doing other things. Now I’m intentional about sitting down enjoying every meal, counting calorie, limiting snack and daily exercising.

During the Holiday Season’s is challenging for me to maintain my weight. It’s been my excuse to over indulge without much guilt. I realize there are consequences to over indulging. As I get older and the metabolism slows down, every calorie counts. This game is keeping me accountable. God willing my desire is to go into 2021 a better, healthier version of myself.
