For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

I’m down almost 60 lbs total. I thought the food noise would go away but it never has. I literally can’t have some things in my house and I need to buy individually packaged things. Can anyone relate?

Totally relatable! I usually do the grocery shopping if my husband wants unhealthy snacks I tell him to buy it himself and never big bags. Although I do let myself indulge in a couple chips if he gets a bag of Doritos. Still gotta live!

Lauren – Thanks for being real! 60# down, that’s fantastic! You are obviously doing a whole bunch of things right! But, I get it…. I think a lot of us struggle with the food noise. Portioning, getting in a quick walk and some fresh air, having someone else do the shopping so you aren’t triggered at the grocery store – these are all great ideas to help quiet the noise. Here are some others to try, if you haven’t already! Prioritize your sleep – good, restful sleep really does make a difference in achieving and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. I know when I’m tired, I don’t always make the best decisions. Also, practice a mindful pause whenever you do notice food noise. Tune in to what you really need in that moment – Is it food? Comfort? Entertainment? Social connection? A break? There are many different forms of nourishment. And, most importantly, be gentle with yourself. With intentional work, you’ll gradually create space between you and the constant chatter, allowing you to make choices that truly serve you!
