  • Hi friends! It's time for our Round 2 weigh-in!

    * Please be sure to submit your Official Weigh-In, with both your full-body photo and scale readout, and not just a Progress Weigh-In.

    * You have 48 hours to weigh-in, and can re-use an approved weigh-in from another game within 48 hours by starting the process in this game and selecting the option to re-use an approved weigh-in.

    * Be on the lookout for a notification saying your weigh-in was received and another saying it was approved. Check Alerts or Notifications in the upper right - depending on your notification settings, you might not receive emails. There are a lot of weigh-ins so please be patient and they will be approved as fast as possible!

    * If you run into any trouble with your weigh-in, consult our 2024 Make the New Year Magic Transformer FAQs or reach out to support@dietbet.com.

    * Even if you didn't make this goal, you only miss out on the half of the monthly pot awarded this round. You still have a chance at other rounds, the game prizes, and the overall game pot!

    * All winnings will be awarded at the end of the game. We're in this for the long haul!

All of you - winners of this round or not - should be so proud for making this commitment! Congratulations everyone!

  • Already hit Round 2 goal! Lost 4.8lbs this week. The only thing I added in was ACV & Collagen supplement once a day. Also, I added in at least one HIIT workout. I feel great! 🙌

  • At the end of Round 1 our bonus prize winners were announced. Did you see it?

We had 2 winners of a Vitamix Blender - Trevor J and RonjaRaeubertochter! Give them a big congrats!

Let's talk a little bit about our favorite tools in the kitchen for healthy eating.

I'm not fortunate enough to have a Vitamix (those lucky ducks!) but I do use our toaster oven/air fryer and the Crockpot all the time for cooking easy, healthy meals. I also have some meal prep containers so I can portion out the leftovers from healthy meals for lunches or to freeze for easy meals when I don't have time to plan. Last, the most beneficial would probably be my stash of measuring cups and food scale - that is a HUGE one for correct portion control.

Share your kitchen must-haves to help on this journey!

Learning to make more use of my pressure cooker & crock pot! I love my air fryer, too, but we were gifted it when it was just my husband and me. So it’s just a small basket one, Now, we’re a family of 5 and definitely want/need a larger, updated one! It’s been on my wishlist for a while, now!

Instant pot, vitamix, air fryer, and number one most important item: KITCHEN SCALE

Ha! It’s been 24 yeas since I had my twins and finally I am slightly under what I weighed when I had them. You are doing this early and this is great! Don’t wait. Hit your goal this year!!!

Julie P.

I am in the same place

Still above my pregnancy weight (I had lost most of it in my first year and then slowly gained it back + more)

I’m try to focus on the here and now and 1lb/ 1 day at a time

Trying to refocus this year and finally re-lose the weight

Guys I need some tough love or something. How do I get over being angry at myself for gaining this weight? I just had a group photo of me and some friends taken today, and when I saw it hardly recognized myself. I’m usually very kind to myself and feel attractive and confident, but after seeing that picture I am just like “ugh”. I know I need to channel this into carrying in with doing something about it, not feeling sorry for myself. But my confidence took a hit today

Tough love might work but compassion for yourself and your body can be good too.. when I look at pictures of myself I struggle a lot with similar feelings like you. I’ve been trying to reframe like you wrote but I’m also trying to forgive past me. There is a reason I turned to food for comfort.. and I fulfilled those needs with the things I had availed to me at the time. Now I try to make sure I have other resources to for coping.. also like Kimberly S said being grateful is really important for me now, shifting from self hate to feeling grateful and hopeful about my body:heart:

Julie P.

I also struggle with pictures

I used to feel so photogenic and now it’s harder

Stay smiling and focus on the memory vs the photo

  • Alright!! Let's get this weekend started with a little fun!

You're all doing so great! Keep up the great work and stay positive.

Here's the fun! Share with us what you would chose - if you could only pick one: personal trainer, unlimited athletic wardrobe, personal chef, home gym, or endless vegetable garden.

    I know, it's tough!

Can't wait to see what you would choose! (Don't forget to give others a like if they share your choice!)

  • Ok, everyone! Two weeks left until our Round 1 weigh-in!

How are you feeling about that?

Many of us start off very strong with some big 2024 New Year goals and awesome motivation... but we all know the hard part is maintaining that momentum!

This is your reminder that perfection is the enemy of progress.

Has anyone found themselves going so gung-ho with making changes that they feel terrible when they slip up? Or, even worse, it can result in a downward spiral?

Slow and steady wins the race, and it's a lot easier to continue in the right direction if you have a little grace and focus on small changes and forward motion each day.

👉 Share if you have felt this or dealt with it in the past!

👉 Also, share what small, manageable changes you're making this time around!

I was doing well but slipped up during the blizzard and my hormones acting up. I lost some but regained some. Next month I'll plan for my cycle and make sure I stock up on foods that curb cravings. Also plan to stick with exercise as the snow leaves. Reminding myself it's a marathon not a sprint and I didn't put this weight on overnight, it'll take time and learning and bumps on the way to undo it.

I had a big drop the first few days, but nothing since. Trying to stay the course knowing I'm doing everything right. I hope the scale starts moving before the 1-month weigh-in!
