Great lower body workout today!!! P.s. friends, I NEED heavier weights! Are we recommending single dumbbells or the adjustable compact dumbbells?! Bonus if you send me a link or picture! Haha. I want best bang for my buck!!

I found Target to be the best prices for single dumbbells but they only go up to 50lbs. So if you need heavier I’m not totally sure the best place to look! Sorry! But so exciting to need to go heavier! What an exciting feeling!

The CAP brand rubber hex dumbbells on walmarts website are usually the best value I can find. Good quality and less than $1 per pound. A pair of 40s right now is $71.20. They go up to 60lbs.

Maintaining consistency when the scale isn’t budging/going the wrong way. :laughing: I know I’m doing the right things and have NSVs (pants are definitely looser, less bloating etc).

My biggest obstacle this week is to stay on track with my nutrition. I have done so well and need to be down 2 more lbs to be at my personal goal. I find I always get to a point where I'm on track and doing well but get the mindset. I can pig out and eat whatever and then gain a bunch back. I need to stop doing this!!

  • Booty day! A little strep never kept me down! (Thankfully I’m not in any pain now since I started meds yesterday!) but yesterday was a bit challenging! Got it in though! Plus we got our first real snow in awhile!

  • I had the flu this weekend…I didn’t eat much but what I did wasn’t great…and got less than 1,000 steps each day. Spent most of the time in bed. Feeling some better today so I took the dog for a walk in the snow and getting in some time on my walking pad this evening. I did make a good supper this evening. Venison tenderloin, boiled potatoes and green beans. Hopefully tomorrow I’ll get in a workout and even more steps.
