  • Today's lunch was taco salad and one of my favorite easy healthy meals to make with all the veggies! Taco Bell was always my favorite fast food and when i started my journey i quickly realized i could make healthier meals myself! Sometimes I'll use extreme wellness 50 calorie tortillas I get at kroger (dollar general sells them also) but sometimes I just want a big salad! We used lean ground beef, low sodium taco seasoning, shredded cheese, fresh tomatoes + onions, shredded light cheese, salsa & sour cream - Yum! What's your favorite salad or way to eat more vegetables?

Thanks for the idea, Shannon... I unofficially do the intermittent fasting at times, just because a tea is all I really need in the morning. Lately I've been stopping for fast food or a high calorie drink in the morning, so I made the choice to eat something better at home.... and so far, so good!... for today!

It is so hard to avoid the cravings! I started a subscription to Oats Overnight. You prep it with milk (I use almond) the night before, so it's just grab and go in the morning. Sometimes I make my own overnight oats (as opposed to the mox). More often, I'll prep a hard boiled egg and a piece of fruit for my breakfast.

Recently I started intermittent fasting, so my breakfast is 1:00 pm. (=

I think they key is having something that is healthy and convenient and won't sabotage me.

I haven’t won a DietBet since 2021! I just lose motivation halfway through and make a billion excuses to eat whatever I want! I am so excited that I met my goal today!
