  • Today I finally reached Onederland! I have not been here since 2016. And I only stayed there for a short time before gaining everything back. This time I’m taking it all the way to my personal goal of 165. I feel very proud of what I’ve accomplished so far. I never want to go back to what I was over 45 lbs ago. Honestly, it has not been very difficult for me by using both DietBet and WayBetter games to keep me engaged everyday and giving me what I call my “daily task list” of heathy things to accomplish everyday. 34.8 lbs to knock off this body! I’m ready to make it happen!!

Missed goal again but only by .5 lbs as opposed to 1 lb last month, so if I keep steady I should finally “catch up” this month. Most importantly I’m in a “decade” of weight I haven’t been in for at least 5 years and I’m down 50 lbs since my highest weight in 2022.

We're over halfway and I'm so glad I started when I did. My goals are still the same but my resolve is definitely a little slack for the last month or so.

Feeling quite low this week, zero energy and really just like I'm driving with the handbrake on.

How do you combat low mood or depression? I really wanted to get out for a walk each evening this week, but instead ended up comfort eating, staying up too late and sleeping through alarms...

Could you try a morning walk instead? My resolve is always lowest in the evening, but I tend to get things done in the morning.

Find a podcast or audiobook that you enjoy and link it to your wellbeing not your weight. Getting outside and getting exercise helps improve your mood. So think of it as medicine, or something like washing your teeth.

  • Let's start Round 4 off right!

Put in writing your positive affirmation for this month and why you are committed to your goals. Even recite it out loud to yourself.

Remember why you are doing this and what your goals are, then give yourself an affirmation for the month. Start with "I am..." or "I will..." or "I can..."

Type it below, or write it down and put it somewhere you'll see it each day and share a photo with us!

God gives me strength for today.

I am committed to my intermittent fasting plan 18:6 but I also know that I am allowed to treat myself with “rewards“ and still feel great about the overall journey

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Do you agree?

Yes I agree. But I also think that 90% of breakfast foods are unhealthy in North America and have us snacking and hungry within 2 hours!

mcqueen29

I heard this ages ago:
breakfast like a queen,
lunch like a princess
dinner like a pauper

I do think regardless of whatever time you have your first meal of the day, it should be fairly substantial. If I don't eat enough earlier in the day it leaves me too hungry/snacky/prone to bad choices and cravings before bed. And sleeping really doesn't require a big load of junk food to digest on top of your last meal!
