Well I didn’t make this round, but it’s a lesson in humility. Last round I made barely by the skin of my teeth, barely making weight with dehydration, starvation, and I knew that the second I had some water I’d be back up again. One celebratory meal put me at 5 pounds over and this whole month it just stayed there regardless of my healthier efforts and refusinh to succumb to crash dieting again. So I’m definitely in a plateau, hopefully it busts soon!

Good morning and hope your new week starts GREAT for our DietBet! I have not been able to reach my goal of 10 vegetables even once so far! The highest I've gotten is 8. I am going to try again today to hit that 10 mark!

I do a cup for greens, half cup for pretty much everything else. When I googled it, there were some pretty complicated answers. This was just a personal challenge between me, myself and I, so I chose simple. :joy:

  • After an intense week of hard work: watching calories like a hawk, a bunch of cardio, and a relaxing visit to a sauna, I made goal by the skin of my teeth! Celebrating by taking a nice long walk to my favorite Vietnamese restaurant tonight!

It’s so wildly frustrating when you religiously count calories, don’t cheat on your diet at all, and still the scale won’t budge for anything. I’ve had 4 pounds to lose for the past week and a half and the scale will not move. There’s no way it’s disappearing in 3 days from now. I feel like I have wasted my money and like I’m an absolute failure. You’re welcome to everyone whose body functions normally, you get my hard earned money.

Sometimes the weight doesn't come off as fast as we like. I didn't reach the goal this time for the second time :weary: I don't see it as a waste of money because I have lost almost 10 pounds. Weight that I had not lost in past months. I see diet bet as my motivator. If you have lost anything my suggestion is to celebrate that. And try again. But keep the weight off that you did lose never give up on your weight loss journey. Remember it is a journey

Anyone else dealing with evil scale sorcery? I got on my scale this morning and was relieved that I was losing weight again after a hellish plateau. Then I got into less loose clothing to do my official check in and I gained 2 pounds??? All in the span of about 30 seconds and when trading out for less clothing. Make it make sense, I feel so defeated.
