  • Trying to hit 150g of protein and get all my water intake for the day has always kept my sugar cravings at bay.

    I don’t like to cook so basic boiled chicken and microwaveable quinoa with brown rice for lunch today ??

Crock pot chicken is easy to cook more flavorful. I put a bunch of chicken breasts in the crockpot with marinade/soy sauce and whatever spices I feel like at the moment, cook on low for 8 hours, pull out and shred, mix in a little sauce (or multiple sauces) and I have chicken for the week. Extra gets frozen before the sauce goes in so I can thaw and sauce it the next week.

  • I’m the mother of four tornadoes, and I’ve lost ten - twelve lbs over the past year - so slowly- and then gained back six over Christmas break.
    If I could be 20 lbs lighter in May, I would be thrilled.

    The starter plan :
    1. Drink so much water- water before everything else.
    2. Rest starts at 10 pm. Reading in bed is cool
    3. Successfully complete this first step bet challenge and enjoy it!
    4. Eat only during meal times - not while prepping.

    This is for the first week and I’ll ramp up from there .

    I’m doing this challenge with my best friend, so I’m really excited for both of us.

It’s very simple, staying at a deficit most of the time, exercising regularly, and weighing in at the start at night right before your period starts.

Intermittent fasting has been good but it is a struggle. I usually eat breakfast and fast 3 days a week until next breakfast. 7pm until bedtime seems most difficult. I eat healthier the other 4 days. Anyone else trying anything like this?

I've fasted 72 hrs every week before. It's very challenging, just make sure to drink water & stay distracted/active.
