I am feeling the best I have ever felt and so satisfied in what I am eating. The past two weeks I have been doing the carnivore diet.
I make sure to include a variety of meat for a variety of nutrients.
Dr. Ken Barry in YouTube has so many helpful videos from a medical Doctors point of view on the carnivore diet.

Hahah I follow Dr Ken too. I’ve been afraid to try though because I’m predisposed to heart disease via my dad who has had two heart attacks now- first one when he was only 35. My cholesterol is high so I’m working to get that down.

    Not soup - but a favorite. This is Rachel Ray’s Indian Summer Turkey Chili. I 3X the peppers to add more veggies.

  • Day 1 of my three day cleanse. So far so good. Breakfast hot water with lemon jiuce and 1 tsp olive oil and banana. Pre lunch 1/2 cup of prune juice. Lunch mixed greens salad with heirloom tomatoes, sundried tomatoes, shredded carrots, cucumber, pitachio nuts, pinneaple, olive oil and lemon juice dressing.

Why are you here? To lose fat or to manipulate the number on the scale temporarily? Keep that in mind when you get in that desperate mind space. You wanted to lose not just 'weight' but FAT. And that take consistent work over time. You can do it if you don't give up following a calorie deficit that you can reasonably maintain over the long haul. Not through wild restrictions that put you right back where you started because you can't keep that up forever. Hugs!

  • ISO RECOMMENDATION FOR LOW CAL HONEY MUSTARD that doesn’t have a fake sugar taste. Tonight I am having this with a small amount of Hughes HM. It tastes good but has a heavy artificial sweetener after taste I don’t like. I am going to attempt to make my own with healthier ingredients as well.

Making your own is not too complicated and can be exactly sweetened to your preference! I use olive oil, a bit of salt and pepper, fresh garlic and a small amount of Dijon and balance either maple syrup or honey. I pop it on the bullet but you could shake it up. I keep in fridge and just reblend - I make enough for our family dinner salad and two or three lunch portions for me.

I'd throw a little soy sauce in that and call it a day! Or sciracha. Looks good
