Strangely, I have never considered myself a runner- despite running numerous races, including 4 half marathons and 2 tough mudders and going on runs at least 3x a week! I haven't always run, I do it mainly after I sign up for a race. I like the feeling of achievement after doing a big event :)

We have the exact same starting weight, but this is my first dietbet and I haven't quite made the progress you have... yet! Super motivating, I too want to get back to the place I was a couple years ago. Doing my masters and living with negative roommates threw me back a bit, buuut now I'm living with people I love and have school under control! You're awesome motivation :)

Love this post.

I saw a quote recently, "Girls don't just simply decide to hate their bodies, we teach them to." How very true. I remember in 3rd grade, a boy I liked was holding the door open as the class was going inside from recess. I smiled at him and said, "Hi, Danny." He looked me right in the eye and said, "You're fat." Why does that still hurt all these years later?

That was my thought too ;) I'm also new to DB & was so excited I joined 2 bets at the same time then I thought about what you just said & waited to join my 3rd. I didn't really know at the time I could only join 3. Once these are over I'm gonna stager them farther apart as to keep me motivated on the next ones. Already I'm sure this will be a long term thing for me. ;))). Good luck to you
