This past year I have been struggling with a lot of emotional battles. My oldest had begun a life of service in the military and I am struggling with all the worries and fears. I want to feel good in my body and improve my health.

I feel Like i am one a Plateau. The weigth loss was very good at the Beginning but now the Same amount of calories dont make me lose more weight since about a week.

Muscle gain if you’re working out? I count macros rather than calories and do carb cycling and intermittent fasting and it’s been a game changer for me!

If you always eat the same calories, try upping them for a day or so. Take a look at calorie cycling or shifting to see if it might work for you! :)

I get it. The weekend is hard -add in holidays-struggle for sure. Love the mindset though -right back on track! We got this!

  • Happy Saturday! How is everyone’s day going? I made my first tofu today! Did all the things, drained pressed, seasoned and it was delicious! Definitely not the protein hit my Chicken breast is but it was yummy! Going to keep playing with it and incorporate some other plant based protein options to work to get my protein to my macro goal just with plants. It’s interesting for sure! Anyone else incorporate/fuel with plant based protein? Going to get SOME TVP, Soy protein powder and possible some seitan-it may take some planning, but I’m sure I can get to a fully plant based protein day.

I've used my fitness pal in the past ! But with a toddler at home these days, I don't really have the energy, I just make sure I eat a sufficient amount of protein in every meal. But that app definitely helped me to understand the macro makeup of different foods for sure.
