Curious if anyone has any experience with a carnivore diet? As a guy that avoids veggies I’m wondering the positives and negatives of it. Seems hard to maintain.

A coworker and her husband did it due to some of her allergies (mold, etc.) - but he ended up with colon cancer. Obviously not a causation thing, but id definitely recommend getting a colonoscopy scheduled after you cut out fiber for a while! Maybe it's what your body needs - but best to stay on top of it?

I really liked carnivore for a short amount of time to get inflammation under control. Now I mostly do animal products because I feel best on them and focus on real Whole Foods without preservatives.

Meal prep is the only way I stay on track. I only do 2-3 days of meal prep at a time because I get grossed out by food older than that. I also hate food waste so meal prepping makes me eat it because I refuse to throw it out. And weighting every day. I need to see the small wins and the potential small losses

Make a plan and stick to it. The hardest part is climbing back into the wagon, once your in, you just ride it to your goal.

    A slight gain this week. Some weeks are just like that. I’m still about 15 pounds away from a healthy BMI weight. My goal is to reach it this summer. So far I’ve lost 72 pounds in 18 months (and three transformers).

    I’ve got about 5 pounds to lose in the next three weeks and it’s going to be tough.

    I’m glad for the accountability, especially now that it’s so slow. But slow and steady wins the race!

Anyone else do the Conqueror challenges? Loving them so far and pretty inexpensive. Currently 300 miles into the Great Barrier Reef! Already knocked out all the Star Wars ones 😂

Gabbie, for these I just juiced half a cucumber, half a green apple, and half a lemon… then poured in a little coconut water when it was all juiced. :)

    Weekends can be a challenge to get your workouts in so you need to have a plan to hit your goals! Plan for a workout one day if you can and if you can’t, plan for moving more than usual.

    It’s easy to get into a rut with your workouts and movement. This weekend, make a concentrated effort to change it up just a little. Put on a YouTube video and dance with your kids or pets or by yourself. There are so many options out there, you can choose what works best for you.

    Most importantly, have fun with it and share what you did :)
