Great Goals! Good luck. I so need to work on the sleep one. I was trying to figure out my health insurance last night and stayed up until 3 am. Not good. So, I will follow your lead and pick a bedtime. I will shoot for 11:00 to bed and lights out 11:30.

Congrats... That's awesome!! This is my goal for this month. I kicked diet coke last month. I know it will be hard, but I can do it for a month!

Les

I agree at alcohol can be a major detriment to weight loss. I too have started changing the way and reducing the times I consume it. Not easy to break habits but I sure notice the difference!

I think it's only natural to be nervous. When things change, we start to worry. I wish you the best of luck on your big move and staying healthy.

Hey girl, if you are doing long distance running (more than 4 miles), and 30 day shred, you actually could be in need of MORE food. It seems illogical, but your body can go into starvation mode, hanging on to every last calorie, if you don't replenish it well. Keep it simple...almonds, hard boiled eggs, greek yogurt... see if that makes a difference! Good luck!!!

MacRitchie

thanks guys. Today the scale made a major move. So happy. Hope it's not a blip.

SO TRUE!! 28 days to make a habit start happening.... and food is at least 80% of the equation. For me - it might be 90% to be honest. Secrets to success for me include a lot of self-talk - like when temptation hits---this is something I talk to myself and say -- "I know exactly what that tastes like - I've had it before but I don't need it now. It's not going to help me get where I want to go." ...and "Are you going to REGRET this later?" -- those things help stop me and then I go drink a large glass of water! :) Thanks for sharing your plan - it's awesome!
