I know the struggle. But if it is really period weight, than you will drop a lot after. I always can like 2 pounds and drop 3 within 2 days after my periods starts. So hopefully you make it.

I am so tired. I am trying to break through my plateau, doing some sort of exercise every day this month (I do have rest days, but I haven't had lazy couch days). Fasting has been the only way I have lost weight. Today I fasted and walked 5.5 miles and was dead afterwards.

5.5 miles is a long trip. I think it is fair to expect a good night's sleep on a day like that.

You less you haven’t lost in 6+ weeks I wouldn’t say you are in a plateau. Just keep being consistent and the results will come through. Sometimes not as we want them but suddenly one day you might be down a pound or two

Once upon a time I posted daily here and I found it to be so inspiring, but this game I haven't been participating. It's not new anymore, I've lost these same pounds before and it just isn't thrilling the 3rd of 4th time of the yo yo. It's also not as easy, maybe my metabolism slowed down because I got older, or maybe I lost lean mass and gained back fat making it harder each time. My point is I think I would like to participate more.

Hi Eli! I also stopped engaging so much after the first round, and am jumping back in. I'll keep an eye out for your posts! Small steps every day - remember to celebrate what you are doing well and stay focused on your WHY for motivation to keep improving.

Ton of respect for you, Eli. Posting like this can make someone feel vulnerable, but it is the opposite. You're facing it all head-on. I have 2 sons, and any time someone asks me why I keep working out or trying to eat healthy, I always say it's because I want to be around when my kids have kids. And it can be a great example for your kids as well.

Keep pushing yourself. Allow a couple pounds lost to help build your confidence for the next couple. Baby steps.

My best advice for exercise is to hit an elliptical then follow it up with the treadmill at a slight incline. Try the elliptical for 15 minutes to start. Next week go to 20 minutes, and so on. Exercise bike in between days can help alleviate any knee or back pain as well.

And my biggest struggle of all, not snacking after dinner Lol.

This has been a tough month. I finally saw movement in the scale a few weeks ago then I got sick, then I got a weird infection and my weight shot up. The infection is finally healing and my weight finally is back to what it was when I first got sick. Now I am 2 lbs away from my goal and am feeling more hopeful. It will take a lot of work but I am hoping to make it.

Stress can cause us to gain and hold onto weight. Maybe now that you are healing the weight will feel safe to let go. Consider adding some extra water and quality sleep to help your he process if you aren’t already. I am rooting for you!:two_hearts:

My body definitely was saying this today- but I didn’t listen and struggled to get my steps in and my kettlebell workout. I also ate more than I normally do. Nothing horrible- and I stayed in a calorie deficit- it just wasn’t my usual- I was just feeling off today.
