Yesterday I struggled with taking a rest day- my body was just tired and couldn't get motivated. I beat myself up about it but kept my diet healthy. In the long run, it was worth it! I hit the gym first thing this morning and was able to get in a killer workout. Learning to listen to your body can be tough, especially with the end date of this challenge quickly approaching. Trust your instincts. It will pay off in the end. Happy Sunday!

  • I work from home and have a bad habit of becoming ultra focused and not moving for hours. So this morning I set meeting reminders with myself every hour to move. These stupid reminders will pop up every hour until I dismiss them. It's gonna drive me nuts but let's see if it works! 😅????😅???? My goal is the 250 steps per hour on my fitbit app.

Those are great stats. Back when I was actively walking 5K several times a week it took me an hour. Mile two I kicked it up a little and could usually clock a low 18 minutes but 20 was my average. I can’t even walk a mile at all anymore. You are doing awesome!

6lbs for me so far. :sob: my first month and a half I lost absolutely nothing. And now I’ve found my balance and what works for my body and it’s happening!!! Almost 4 months into the effort and I’m down 17lbs ish.

I usually don't do a cheat day. I used to but it seemed to throw me off balance.

So I don't really do cheat days. I keep a 1200 to 1700 range, all of which puts me in a calorie deficit. Most days I keep at the 1200 mark, but if there is a day when I need an extra treat I keep in my 1700 range, but I also don't worry if I'm a little over because in the course. This has really helped my mindset so I don't get off track with a cheat day, I used to turn one into multiple and have a hard time getting back on track.
