Weight fluctuation happens. Honestly I usually fluctuate between 1 - 7 pounds. I weigh myself everyday and just make sure it's averaging on a downward trend. So don't worry it's not 4 pounds of fat. Weight lifting also pulls water into muscles to repair so you will almost always weigh more after a heavy season. Do not stress about it!!

High protein deviled eggs!!

Deviled eggs are a great high protein snack. Great for late night cravings

Recipe : everything is eyeballed so I don't got actually measurments but take your hard boiled eggs, take the Yorks and mix together some Greek yogurt, mustard, Frank's hot sauce and mash all together . Scoop into the eggs and sprinkle with paprika.

- I hate boiling eggs so I make my boiled eggs in rice cooker so I don't got to pay much attention to them

Started good last month but this month it's been all backsliding. I am dropling out of this transformer, I have a vacation at the beginning of March on a cruise for 2 weeks and there is really no way that I wouldn't just undo any work until then on a all you an ear cruise so.... I'll join another one in April. Oh well, I'll try to plug on myself in the meantime....

If you quit and join a new one, you'll have to lose more weight than if you'd stayed! The goals reduce each month so you can easily catch up!

Like others are saying, there are benefits to staying in the game -- having this in the back of your head on that cruise to motivate healthier choices (a skill that will pay off for a lifetime!) and a chance at the big pot at the end even if you don't make the first few rounds.

You have to do what is right for you, but I hope you at least consider that mindful eating in an all-you-can-eat situation could be a very good thing.

For those who struggle with getting enough protein in or cutting out "wheat" I found a great alternative! I finally made lentil wraps! The real name for it is Dosa. Anyways i just soaked red lentils and blended it up, put in some seasonings and then cooked in on frying pan and ate it like a wrap. It was delicious so I'd highly recommend:)

I'm not going! Not a fan of these teams. But for real, I recommend having the veggie crudite. You can kind of snack unlimited on carrots, cucumber, etc. Also, allow yourself to have what you want, but be mindful of what that actually is (e.g. calorie counting, even if loosely.) When you say, "it's a cheat day!" you might have 4000 calories at the party, whereas if you say, "I'm going to enjoy myself today but pay attention to what I'm doing," you will have 1000-2000 calories instead.

I’m struggling this week. I’ve stayed on diet and worked out a little but weight won’t budge. I feel like I may be at a plateau. But I don’t want to eat less calories than I am because I like food lol
I know everyone is different…but I’m just trying to get an idea or ballpark figures. How many calories do you allow yourself a day?

1200-1300 calories per day for me. At my age, this is the only thing that works. I also exercise daily.

I'm not calorie counting right now but I am trying to eat smaller portions then I normally do and eating foods higher in protein. I find when I eat too low of calories I tend to binge later on or I am just constantly thinking about calories lol. if I get hungry at night I usually eat a high protein snack, usually it's a small bowl of cottage cheese haha

Guys I need some tough love or something. How do I get over being angry at myself for gaining this weight? I just had a group photo of me and some friends taken today, and when I saw it hardly recognized myself. I’m usually very kind to myself and feel attractive and confident, but after seeing that picture I am just like “ugh”. I know I need to channel this into carrying in with doing something about it, not feeling sorry for myself. But my confidence took a hit today

Tough love might work but compassion for yourself and your body can be good too.. when I look at pictures of myself I struggle a lot with similar feelings like you. I’ve been trying to reframe like you wrote but I’m also trying to forgive past me. There is a reason I turned to food for comfort.. and I fulfilled those needs with the things I had availed to me at the time. Now I try to make sure I have other resources to for coping.. also like Kimberly S said being grateful is really important for me now, shifting from self hate to feeling grateful and hopeful about my body:heart:

Didn’t make goal… tbh even though I’m calorie counting, I REALLY struggled with going over most days. My biggest issue is saying no to snacks in the evening, that’s when I tend to go over my limit.

My Dr gave me some encouragement though so I’m feeling motivated for this next round!

I used to have that problem but I have started working out a ton and it seems like the more I workout the less I want to eat junk. When my hormones are going crazy and I have to have chocolate I eat 2.5 cups of skinny pop hot cocoa popcorn for only 140 calories. If I’m hungry for dessert I eat 1 egg life sweet cinnamon egg wrap with either fresh or frozen cherries or berries and some whipped cream from a can. It’s like 113 calories for a delicious dessert or snack that has a lot of nutritional value. I’ve recently started basically fasting without trying because I don’t get hungry much anymore but if I’m really hungry I eat. I think part of it is this program I’ve been doing that teaches you to pay attention to your body and only eat when you’re at a maximum hunger level and not just because it’s a certain time of the day.

What helps me is planning my snacks. Not going overboard. I have a draw with snacks in and I know I can eat about 150 - 300 depending on what I have ate in the day.I couldn't do this without snacking. I don't cut anything out and have been eating takeaways too I just plan them where possible. Some days not so great aiming for 80%.

I made the round 1 goal only by .3 😅 but I'm happy I did it! Anyways, I decided that im not going to buy any new clothes untill the game is over and then use the winnings to get a new wardrobe 😁 gives some extra motivation 😜
