Ugh due to my period (and not trying this month…) I will fail weigh in this month. Oh well.

Girl same! I totally didn’t try this month. Didn’t really gain anything but definitely didn’t reach goal. We still have two more months tho!!! We can do it!!

WayBetter Kristin

It's a full 48 hours, so if you are close, remember that you have tomorrow too. :purple_heart:

Do you have to weigh in even if you didn't get the goal?

Same here - not weighing in today but will make sure I weigh in round five.

Ashley P.

I weighed in just to keep the tracking. I didn’t make it but still closer to the end goal! Like others said, ensure you weigh in for month 5!

I didn’t make it, but I won’t view this month as a loss. My body finally started cooperating again, and after being leagues away from last month’s goal, I caught up and missed this month by 1.5 pounds. The next goal is only 4 pounds away, with the ultimate goal 6 pounds down. Sure, the extra $$ would’ve been nice, and I busted my tail this past couple weeks to try to get there, but I refuse to view this as anything but a victory.

We’re all in this for the long game!

Same here!! March was rough and I missed it by 1.4 lbs! But I still lost some so I’m not giving up!!! I’m about the same numbers as you and it’s definitely doable!! We got this!!!

Jennifer B.

Yes!!! Go you! That’s such a great mentality, and you are on the right track to hit all the future milestones. I’m excited for you!

March was a tough month! I’m close, but not enough to hit my goal. Time to double down for April.

Man, my weigh-in this morning wasn't accepted, and I didn't check until after I ate dinner.

Another lesson learned: on weigh-in day, check for verification before dinner!

Oh no! Hopefully you still have another day or was this day 2 for weigh in? Curious though, never had one not accepted. What was the reason?

Mezzie

This was for the weekly, not the round, but it's within 48 hours, so I should be able to reuse it on Friday.

@Tracy -- I had the pen I'd written the weigh-in word with on the floor next to the word, and it looked like it might be touching or under the scale. It wasn't, but it was a reasonable concern. That was my first-ever rejection.

I’m feeling frustrated. It’s been 12 days since I lost any weight. I could not be eating any less than I am. I try to eat low carb and low calorie as that usually works for me. I have at least a 500 calorie deficit from my diet alone each day. Yet nothing is happening. I’m not exercising much, maybe twice a week, so I know I could be doing that more. But I’m on my feet all day every day and feel like my diet should be enough to see semi-consistent change. What am I doing wrong???

I know the common belief is in = out, but less calories and more exercise isn't always the answer because with hormones and stress our bodies freak out and then hold onto the weight. Totally agree with folks on changing things up maybe spend a few days consciously eating well but instead focus on & counting grams of protein (>100g) or fiber (>25g).

Madeline L.

  • Sorry you are going through that. That sounds so frustrating! I’ve seen things online from fitness experts who talk about how to get through a weight plateau. You should look into something called metabolic confusion where you use a zigzag calorie plan to get your body out of starvation mode. I’ll attach screenshots with the general plan if you are interested. ❤

I’m struggling this week. I’ve stayed on diet and worked out a little but weight won’t budge. I feel like I may be at a plateau. But I don’t want to eat less calories than I am because I like food lol
I know everyone is different…but I’m just trying to get an idea or ballpark figures. How many calories do you allow yourself a day?

1200-1300 calories per day for me. At my age, this is the only thing that works. I also exercise daily.

I'm not calorie counting right now but I am trying to eat smaller portions then I normally do and eating foods higher in protein. I find when I eat too low of calories I tend to binge later on or I am just constantly thinking about calories lol. if I get hungry at night I usually eat a high protein snack, usually it's a small bowl of cottage cheese haha

Didn’t make goal… tbh even though I’m calorie counting, I REALLY struggled with going over most days. My biggest issue is saying no to snacks in the evening, that’s when I tend to go over my limit.

My Dr gave me some encouragement though so I’m feeling motivated for this next round!

I used to have that problem but I have started working out a ton and it seems like the more I workout the less I want to eat junk. When my hormones are going crazy and I have to have chocolate I eat 2.5 cups of skinny pop hot cocoa popcorn for only 140 calories. If I’m hungry for dessert I eat 1 egg life sweet cinnamon egg wrap with either fresh or frozen cherries or berries and some whipped cream from a can. It’s like 113 calories for a delicious dessert or snack that has a lot of nutritional value. I’ve recently started basically fasting without trying because I don’t get hungry much anymore but if I’m really hungry I eat. I think part of it is this program I’ve been doing that teaches you to pay attention to your body and only eat when you’re at a maximum hunger level and not just because it’s a certain time of the day.

Rachel W.

What helps me is planning my snacks. Not going overboard. I have a draw with snacks in and I know I can eat about 150 - 300 depending on what I have ate in the day.I couldn't do this without snacking. I don't cut anything out and have been eating takeaways too I just plan them where possible. Some days not so great aiming for 80%.

maybe a silly question but why is the round two pot so much less than all the others?

As others have said, it can be players leaving the game, or you may even see it move a bit as payments are squared away for the next round. The Rounds further out are "pledged" based on everyone in the game, but things have a tendency to change a little at the start of each round for the players who pay in monthly.

Aysa M.

got it, thanks everyone!

  • Ok BLUE SCALE owners. I take a photo, numbers capture and appear for 1 second and then disappear. Wth?! How do I take a picture of the scale where numbers are readable. Or better yet, edit the current photo to show numbers

Use your flash! I found that to be the key for my similar scale

Mezzie

I have to turn off the light and use a flash, and even then it's pretty faint.
